  • Beschreibung: Ausblick von einem Küstenweg mit Figuren in orts- und zeittypischer Tracht zu einem Küstenstadt mit Hafen unterhalb eines steilen Felsens. Im Wasser liegen kleine und große Boote und Segelschiffe. Die Küste ist befestigt und wird von einer Festung auf einem Felssporn bewacht.

  • Description: View from a coastal path with figures in local and period costumes to a coastal town with a harbour below a steep cliff. Small and large boats and sailing ships are moored in the water. The coast is fortified and guarded by a fortress on a rocky spur.

  • Condition: Rather good condition. Some staining and slight browning along the right edge of the sheet. Discolouration along the verso of the right edge of the sheet due to an old mount. Slight foxing.
