Vintage Automatic Cigarette Dispenser Wooden Box Lift Top Oriental Symbols Japan

This auction is for an Unusual Wooden Cigarette Box with an Automatic Dispenser Function.  Cigarettes are loaded through the slot in the top - when the top section is lifted a cigarette rolls into place into the central plynth and when the section is lowered back into position the cigarette sits proud of the top in the central slot ready for consumption.  The box has lovely oriental symbols and designs on the sides .  I think it was probably made in Japan in the 1950's or 1960's. Please note the cigarette shown in the photographs is not included and is shown purely for lllustrative purposes. 

Box is in good vintage condition - is quite old so has some signs of age and use.  Please see photographs for details.
