If your dog is giving birth to puppies soon, it's important to make sure that you have a whelping box on hand to use for the delivery as well as for the new mother and her litter to nest for about six weeks after the birth.
Manufactured whelping boxes are widely available for purchasing at pet supply stores, but where can you buy one that's made to fit where its convenient for you, and when finished put it away until next time.

All our whelping boxes are made on the premises they are sent partially assembled with pre drilled holes, full instructions and all screws/fittings. There is an option of shelves or Pig rails please advise at check out.
We use Parcel Force 24hr Large courier service for our delivery. (From time of Collection).
If you are up against time, and puppies are nearly due please make us aware of the puppies due date.
At checkout please advise if parcel can be left in safe place if no-one home.
Your mobile phone number is required for the courier in case of needing to contact mobile preferred.

WHELPING BOX SIZES
Small 28" 28" x 8" high
Medium 25" x 30" x 12" high

We have been making Whelping boxes for the last 12 years. Each box is handmade. With attention to detail.
Our Whelping boxes are sent partly assembled with
pre drilled holes full instructions and fittings.
Box is made from 9ml weatherproof ply with a safety shelf around 3
sides, this is extra protection for the puppies, width and height increases
with size. Strong and sturdy. Any wider than 9mls will be very heavy to
handle and move. The safety shelf is a minimum of 3" wide (8cms) and 4" high so mum
cannot lie up against the side of the box. These can be removed as puppies
get older. All the shelves are screwed into place. The cups and screws we use
are brass so no rusting.
To preserve the life of the box it may be worthwhile painting with a pet friendly stain.The floor of the box is raised and well supported. For added protection for the flooring a piece of vinyl is easily washed and removed when finished.(not supplied).
