Our resin one piece waterline hull & parts have extensive detail that will save you hours of work. We have been able to mold the entire bulwark and deck planking right into the upper portion of the hull, roof on forward hatch, detailed cargo hatch etc. The Pilot House walls and roof are full of detail.

Detailed resin parts include: Pilot house walls/roof, forward companion, cargo hatchs, forward hatch, rudder and post.

Super detailed white metal castings include: cowl vents, smoke stacks, winch assembly, bollard, capstan, steps, life ring, running lights and spot light, seagull, propellar, cleat and fire hose.

This kit is perfect for any harbor or river scene.  With its high pilot house, this tug typifies a railroad tug boat used for moving railroad car flats and barges.  The higher pilot house allows the captain to see over a railway car float loaded with box car.  With the closing of most car float operations, many of these tugs may now be seen in regular tug boat service.    Tug measures 11" X 3.25".
