Fine Chinese Enamel & Silver Pendant / Pill Box W/ Multi-Colored Enamel Design

This beautiful Chinese enamel silver pendant pill box is a stunning addition to any collection. The piece features multi-colored enamel work and is marked “silver” on the inner rim. The box was beautifully handmade with care.

The box box measures about 1-1/4 inches in diameter by 3/8 inch thick and weighs about 13 grams. It has a small fixed loop at the top and a hinged lid on one side. The exposed silver pieces are gilded.

Both sides have an embossed scene with a flowering branch, a bird and a lantern, covered in multi-colored enamels on a light blue background. The sides have enameled leaves, and the interior is a blue enamel. It is marked “SILVER” on the inner rim.
