Vintage, circa 1880-1880: Salvaged and restored.  Mallory Wheeler & Co, of New Haven, CT.  Complete vestibule door set (although it could be used on any passage door).  Flip button mortise lock with key!  Finish has not been cleaned, original patina, matching brass faceplate.  M W & Co, cast brass or bronze Arabic faceplate with two brass or bronze cast Arabic style drum knobs (Blumin ID K-21420).  Mortise lock box will accommodate a thumb turn knob from the inside and it is included with the set.  The knob post shaft required for this lock is the standard 5/16", it to is obviously included and also the strikeplate that matches this set is also included. 

Knob escutcheons are also included that came with the set, but sure of that pattern but they looks good with the set. 

Mortise lock has a front plate length of 5 3/8" and a width of 1 1/16" and thickness of 1/8".  Backset (the distance from the front edge of the brass face plate to the center of the knob post hole) is  2 7/8", drop (the distance from the center of the knob post hole to the center of the top of the key slot) is 1 3/4".  The lock is reversible.  Would give a beautiful period look to any door!
