This flower is made with a striking iridescent green opaque glass.
The glass has streaks of green, a hint of pink and white running through it as well as an iridescent sheen across the surface.
It measures 15cm in diameter and comes ready to hang.
This flower would be ideal against a contrasting coloured wall or in a window or with movement, the iridescent sheen would glimmer.

Each piece of glass is individually cut by hand following the design. A glass grinder is then used to remove all the sharp edges and provide a rough surface for the copper foil tape. The tape is hand wrapped around each piece and burnished to secure it. When two copper foiled pieces of glass are lined up, they can then be soldered together with an additional bead of solder along every seam to add strength and to give a better finish to the overall piece. Every item is then carefully washed and dried, with some being finished with either a copper or black patina.
