Main technical characteristics
The detector provides measurement of exposure dose rate in the range from 10-4 to 103 R/h of gamma radiation with energy from 0.08 to 7.0 MeV.
At a discrimination threshold of 70 keV, the following detector parameters are provided:
sensitivity to gamma radiation with an energy of 0.661 MeV of the 137Cs isotope:
for plate No. 1 from 22.5 to 35 imp/μR;
for plate No. 2 from 0.4 to 0.7 imp/μR;
change in the sensitivity of the plates in the gamma radiation energy range from 0.08 to 1.25 MeV is no more than ±35% relative to the sensitivity value at an energy of 0.661 MeV;
the sensitivity of the detector to gamma radiation from a 137Cs source incident at any angle differs by no more than 10% from the nominal value for each plate;
counting rates of plates No. 1 and No. 2, due to their own noise, no more than 0.1 pulse/s at a temperature of 60 ° C;
changes in the sensitivity of the plates when the ambient temperature changes from +20 °C to +60 °C no more than ±1.5% for every 10 °C;
The operating voltage of the detector should be (60 ± 3) V.
