WW-II British Home Front

Sweetheart Brooch

for the loved one of a

Royal Air Force Officer

1939-1945

A beautifully-crafted wee badge,

measuring approx 3" across

and featuring an officer's separate brass 

RAF cap crown

set within a piece of salvaged cockpit perspex,

the back (we presume) would have also had the circular piece 

to hold the crown on the cap, which is now, alas, missing!

Nevertheless a really smashing piece of officer's

WW-II Home Front 'Trench Art'

endeavour for his sweetheart!
