Review; "my son is only 9 months old and so I thought this CD may have been a bit ambitious to start him off so early on but he smiles as soon as I put it on and it must be the singing as he loves to listen to this and to the 1,2,3 CD by the same makers. We tend to listen to this mostly in the car as it keeps him amused when we are out and about which is a small sacrifice instead of listening to the radio or one of my CD's.
There is no track listing on the back of the CD cover as most CD's have and whilst in the car CD player there are no track numbers showing, on the CD player at home there is and it lists there as being 27 tracks and the total running time as 70minutes 59seconds which is not the advertised 35minutes run time. The CD runs through the ABC song and then does each individual letter one at a time finishing off with the ABC song at the end again. Rather than have new tunes made up for each letter they have adapted well known tunes such as twinkle twinkle little star etc and give the letter an item such as B is for Bell and sing a song along to that tune in addition to showing the phonetic sound for each letter. There are two singers on the CD, a man and a woman and they take it in turns to sing and describe each letter.A good CD to help your little one learn the alphabet and even though my son is a bit young for this at the moment the catchy tunes and singers voices have him smiling and hopefully as I'm introducing him to this early it may help him pick up words sooner and the CD will be being played for a few years to come I'm sure."
