***I recently purchased 18 old bears, most obviously antique, at an estate sale where over 150 bears were available. The auction advertised her as a Steiff collector. Most of the vintage bears had Steiff buttons but only two of the antique bears did. They were very dusty, some downright dirty.

I researched how to properly clean them and have been pleased with the results.

Of the ones I purchased none were marked. Some quite likely could be Steiff, the majority most likely German. I will leave it to you to determine. If anyone has knowledge on particular bears I list I would very much appreciate guidance.
