Used from a non smoking home.  One valance is a little faded, at least it has less vibrant colors that the other one.

Nice patriotic print--liberty bell, independence eagle, Columbus ship, The Harbour Map, etc.

It has a satin feel, and there is some metallic thread.  I do not know what it is made of.

There is some raveling at the edge in a few places, due to the type of material it is hard to keep a hem.
