Description: [Cinema promotion] Complete set of eight UK Front of House Stills for the 1967 UA film starring Sean Connery as Ian Fleming's James Bond, produced by Harry Saltzman and Albert R. Broccoli's EON Productions. Approximate dimensions 10 x 8 inches. seven are original, with one quality reproduction card to complete the set (some marks to repro copy- the 'dining' scene). Housed in a collector's protective black card case. Some minor handling, reverse sides clean (one with faint agency stamp, one biro note). Very good indeed. From the Jon Gilbert collection. Note on Format; the Lobby Card is a small poster or titled still printed on card stock, usually 10 x 8 inches (UK and Europe) or 11 x 14 inches (US) in a landscape view. Generally produced in sets of eight in colour for Britain and America, intended for display in a cinema foyer or lobby. Film stills are in a similar format but on photographic paper, taken from the film print (occasionally with a scene number). These are more numerous and mostly printed in black and white.
