Vintage 1940s coat, in a versatile camel wool gabardine.

Quintessential 1940s coat, with thick padded shoulders, dagger collar, wide sleeve cuffs, and deep front angle pockets. Fully lined in dark camel rayon satin lining.

Material is sleek and smooth, and has no itch of wool.

Coat closes with 3 front functional buttons, has decorating buttons, seaming, and notch collar in the back.

Cut in a straight a-line shape in the front, with box pleated trapeze swing drape in the back when worn unbelted. Belt in photos not included and intended as a styling suggestion, as the coat looks terrific belted -- and takes on the look of a princess coat.

Label reads "Hollywood Tailoring Mills, Ogden Utah".

Coat is shown unpinned but belted on a 34" bust, 26" waist, 35" hip mannequin. Intended for larger measurements, this still works for this size due to the belt. Versatile size.

Bust: 44"
Hip: 48"
Shoulder: 16"
Sleeve: 24"
Length: 44" (top of back middle collar to hem)

Excellent condition. Coat has been drycleaned, and is ready to wear. Various very tiny marks remain, which I've pointed out in the last photos. Very minor.
