Publisher's Khaki cloth blocked in black, illustrated dust-jacket, correctly priced at 3/6 to spine. This is effectively the first cheap edition, with WRAPAROUND ADVERTISING BAND promoting the reduced price of 1s. Contents clean, edges a little dusty, jacket has a loss to top edge, toned to spine, worn to rear fold. Shows well. Rare with the original jacket and paper sash. An early collection of flying stories, including one Biggles adventure.
