With occasional vignette illustrations by Minton, including a frontispiece and decorated title page. Publisher's oatmeal cloth, with gilt titles to brown backing on the spine. With the dust-jacket illustrated by John Minton, priced at 10/6. Internally crisp and clean, with some toning and a few marks to edges. Jacket shows just a touch of toning to spine, and moderate wear to edges, with a few closed tears and chips, and a larger loss to head of spine / rear cover. Very good. A classic collection of recipes inspired by travels in France, Italy and Greece, first published in 1950.
