The Gift Set consists of four (4) military models and all in in near to mint fully original condition with no touch-up or replacement parts whatsoever.
Some details on the contents:
1. Missile Launching ramp. A near perfect example with properly working missile erection mechanism and swiveling base. Outstanding baseplate and overall condition.
2. Bristol Bloodhound Missile. A lovely example with original roundels and all missile parts in place. Includes two missile heads, one soft rubber and the other harder plastic.
3. Loading trolley. Another outstanding example with all original and now somewhat hardened tires (7 including the spare) fitted to the original flat aluminum hubs. Mechanism works properly and registration number (VXL203) is in excellent condition. The often damaged trailer hitch is also in excellent condition. Truly a rare find.
4. RAF Land Rover. The last component is this 109" W.B. Land Rover. Excellent in all ways and fully original with no touch-up or replacement parts whatsoever. Original and a bit age hardened tires (all 5, including the hood mounted spare) are fitted to the original flat aluminum hubs. Excellent windows, baseplate and trailer hitch.
The original box is in fair to poor condition given that the box top is missing two of the four sides. The cover is very good with an excellent fully color illustration. The box bottom is excellent and contains the original inserts for the various models described above.
Also included two (2) of the original instructions.
