  • Beschreibung: Ganzfigurige Darstellung der imposanten Erscheinung Isabellas II. von Spanien mit ihren Zofen. Vor ihr kniet ein zu Boden gerungener Angreifer, der seinen Dolch fallen gelassen hat und von zwei Wachleuten gehalten wird. Alle Dargestellten tragen aufwendige, historisierende Kleidung. Vermutlich stammt das Blatt aus einer Serie des Künstlers namens Bilder zur Vertreibung der Königin Isabella von Spanien aus dem Jahr 1868.

  • Description: Full-length depiction of the imposing appearance of Isabella II of Spain with her maids. In front of her kneels an attacker who has been wrestled to the ground, has dropped his dagger and is held by two guards. All the sitters are wearing elaborate, historicising clothing. Presumably the print is from a series by the artist called Pictures of the Expulsion of Queen Isabella of Spain from 1868.
