- You ship to me your Apple iPod classic 6th, 6.5th or 7th gen (either 80 GB, 120 GB or 160 GB) with weak or dead battery (please make sure that everything else works fine).
- Upon receiving your iPod classic, I can install a new battery within a couple of days, test it thoroughly and ship back to you.
- These iPod classic models are NOTORIOUSLY hard to be opened (Apple intentionally designed that way to discourage any repair attempt by end users...). As a result, it's virtually impossible to open up the very tight metal case without leaving noticeable repair signs (if yours is pretty much in new condition, it will be even worse). I noticed that a certain model (probably ordered as a NEW iPod classic directly from China) has a bit different metal clip configuration inside and thus makes the job of opening up the iPod madly frustrating. If yours is one of these, I will probably leave quite noticeable metal wears and some dents too, no other choice.
- This is STRICTLY for a new battery service only. I won't try to fix any other issues, like defective HDD, bad LCD, bad button(s), bad audio jack, bad hold switch, damaged/broken off battery port or defective/dead logic board (unless we agree on extra repair cost and NOT every issue listed here can be successfully fixed, it all depends).
- 30 Day full warranty on a new battery performance (80 GB and 160 GB iPod classic 6th gen unit new replacement battery can typically run close to 30 hours, while 120 GB and 160 GB unit 7th (or 6.5th) gen new replacement battery pack can run close to 40 hours after a full charge.
- PLEASE SHIP immediately your iPod classic in need of a new battery so that the whole process won't take too long (I selected my handling time as 20 business days as I have no idea when I could get your iPod classic to be fixed), thanks!
