Here we have an exceptional gilt brass or ormolu, Arts & Crafts movement candlestick carriage lamp. Unknown maker but much in the style of Faraday, W.A.S. Benson, Hinks, Pullman and the likes. This would date it to somewhere around 1880. It's an exceptional piece that looks absolutely tremendous. It has a real luxurious look with triform base which is finished with nouveau style feet. The top part is articulated allowing you to angle the light. The feet have screw holes so it could be screwed to a desk or wall. Perfect for a reading table, hall table or a desk. This would fit in a treat at a luxury boutique, an arts & crafts themed room or country house library. This measures approximately 13.5 inches tall when fully raised, at 90 degrees its approximately 10.5 inches by 6.5 inches by 6 inches weighing around 600g. The cable measures approximately 50cm in length. This is the only one on eBay of course and cheapest online so get it or regret it!! If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.

Please see my other items where I have a good selection of quality lighting as well as many other decorative antiques.

Please add me to your favourites list and take a look at my other items as I have hundreds that will be listed daily in the up and coming weeks.

Please Note;

I use new & recycled materials to ensure that your item arrives to you safely. I pack all of my items the best I can which you will see from my feedback. However, as with fragile items there is always a risk, items such as Antiques/Collectables, glass, ceramics, paintings etc are not insured for damage by any of the postal services, with the exception of The Royal Mail. This is why I offer a choice of postage options, so you can choose your preferred postage method. Collection in person is also available on all of my items. In the unfortunate, and unlikely event that something does get damaged or goes missing with the Royal Mail then I will do my very best to assist you in making a claim. I always obtain proof of postage for all of my sent items. Sadly I cannot be held responsible for the postal services poor handling of parcels. Here are a few links regarding Royal Mails compensation policies and how to make a claim if necessary.

International Buyers – Please Note:

Import duties; sometimes there will be a charge, I think this is mainly charged on high value items, this is something that the Government enforces to which I have no control of. I declare the value of the parcel as the price the item sold for plus shipping costs.

Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.

Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding or buying.
