ASUS Tinker Edge T NXP i.MX 8M Google Edge TPU with 1GB RAM and 8GB eMMC

ASUS Tinker Edge T has a unique design that allows it to support AI apps. The board features Google Edge TPU and a machine learning accelerator, which is known for higher efficiency levels of higher processing. Additionally, the ML accelerator does not require high power; that’s why it is suitable for building AI apps by integrating various devices. The ASUS Tinker Edge T Board performs much better than the ordinary SBCs. It has a speed of around four Tera Operations Per Second (TOPS); however, it only consumes around 0.5 watts for each computation unit. ASUS Tinker developers state that the Tinker Edge has been specifically improved for TensorFlow Lite, which allows it to compile and run various ML models.   Hardware Specifications of ASUS Tinker Edge T Processor Google Edge TPU (NN Processor) ML Accelerator Co-Processor 22 PIN MIPI DSI One Quad-Core ARM Quad-Core ARM NXP i.MX 8M SoC DDR DRAM 1GB Dual Channel LPDDR4 4th Generation DDR DRAM HDMI HDMI with Hardware Ready CEC LAN GB LAN RTL8211F-CG Graphics Processing Unit GC7000 Lite Graphics Heatsink Active eMMC Storage 8GB eMMC Storage   Bluetooth 4.2 Wireless Module 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wireless Module Card Slot Micro SD (TransFlash Push and Pull) Card Slot (Supports SD 3.0) Type-C Gen1 OTG USB 3.2 One Type-A Gen1 USB 3.2 Two MIPI CSI-2 (24 PIN) Camera Two   ·         40 Pin GPIO Pin Header ·         Three PWN ·         Two I2C Bus ·         28 SPIO Pins ·         28 GPIO Pins ·         121 SPI Bus ·         Two UART ·         Two Power Pins (5V) ·         1 Boot Mode Switch ·         New DC Fan Header compatibility Debian 9 Operating Temperature From 0℃ to 50℃ Non-Operating Temperature From -40℃ to 80℃ Non-Condensing from 0% to 85%   Dimensions 85.5mm x 54mm     Active Heatsink  The majority of the Single Board Computers have a unique power design compatible with 5V (3A) and 15Watt. This means that the power gets unstable when they connect multiple devices. It boosts the board’s stability and ensures better performance even if you connect multiple devices. Moreover, the ASUS Tinker Edge T also features a power-protection system that saves the board from potential damage, especially during significant voltage fluctuations.
