RAK833 LoRa Gateway Concentrator mPCIe Module SX1301 FT2232H SPI USB 470 MHz

RAK833 LoRa Gateway Concentrator module features the mPCIe form factor. It is a cost-effective LoRa Gateway solution. The module supports the USB and SPI interface support and has 10 parallel demodulation paths. These demodulation paths are programmable. RAK833 Lora Gateway Concentrator module features a Semtech SX1301 Baseband processor and an FT2232H (USB – SPI Converter) chip. It is ideal for IoT applications and smart metering fixed networks with a maximum of 500 nodes per square kilometer (if the environmental conditions are moderately interfered with). RAK833 LoRa Gateway Concentrator module features the 52 Pin industry standard PCIe form factor. This makes it easy to integrate the module with application boards.  Features of RAK833 LoRa Gateway Concentrator mPCIe Module FT2232H Converter Chip Semtech SX1301 Boaseboard Processor Supports 470 MHz LoRa Gateway Frequency Band | RX 470 MHz – 490 MHz | TX 490 MHz – 520 MHz USB and SPI interface support Easy integration with different controller boards via USB interface The USB port enables easy access to information on serials, SPI, and I2C Troubleshooting is easier with USB interface Semtech SX1301 Reference Design RAk833 module uses a 4-channel SPDT to activate the SPI of SX1301 to the PCI edge connector. The FT2232H chip converts the SPI of SX1301 to USB2.0. The SPI interface is available on the PCIe_SCK, PCIe_MISO, PCIe_MOSI, PCIe_CSN pins of the system connector. With the SPI interface, the module can access the SX1301 configuration register via the full-duplex synchronous protocol. The USb2.0 interface supports up to 480 MB/s data rate. On its own, the RAK833 behaves like a USB device and you can connect it to any USB host that has compatible drivers.
