This stunning royal worcester 2 handled loving cup depicts worcest bridge to the front and a mountainess seen to the rear.

Signed to lower left R. RUSHTON .

Gilt rim & base with a pretty gilt floral patterning to inner rim with beautiful scrolled gilt lined handles. This stunning loving cup is as good as they come. And rare & very highly collectable.

Full royal worcester stamp to base.

BORN 1886  He spent most of his working life as a landscape painter at the Royal worcester  porcelain works. He specialised in country mansions, cottages and garden scenes and was a very meticulous artist with great attention to detail, 

In his early days he was a prize winner at the national school of art, but he became crippled with arthritis in later years and retired in 1953 just 3 years before is death.
