New Balance 991 Made in England Gentleman's Pack
Ostensibly designed for New Balance's more mature audience, the "Gentleman's Pack" compares the design of the brand's "MADE in UK" icons to that of oxfords, loafers and other fashion footwear. And after its last appearance in 2020, the collection is about to have a spiritual successor with the upcoming color variants 991, 1500 and 730.
The “Gentleman's Pack”, which has been revised several times over the last few years, dates back to 2014. And while this upcoming trio lacks the same namesake, it still continues the collection's legacy by using materials and color palettes as premium and refined as previous pieces. On Allen three of the above models, different shades of brown highlight the luxurious leather and suede hardware; Graphics reminiscent of high-end spirits also adorn its insoles, further distinguishing the series from its more generic counterparts.
