Vintage MCM WARWICK "WAR10" Scalloped Dresden Floral Style China. Each piece in this listing is sold individually. Pattern Description: This Warwick pattern, designated as WAR10 by Replacements Ltd., is very similar to the Bouquet Dresden pattern as both feature a Multi-motif Floral Rim & the Dresden Center has a large Bouquet of flowers. This style is finished with Gold "Daubs" and a Gold Metallic Scalloped Edge, unlike the Bouquet Dresden which has solid gold detailing instead of the daubs. This pattern is discontinued. Made in the United States. Maker's Marks: This set is marked on the bottom with Warwick Made in U.S.A. with the Knight's Helmet and crossed swords mark which was used from the 1930's thru 1951. Company History: The Warwick China Co. was located in Wheeling, West Virginia and produced china from 1887 until 1951. The company was noted for the Ioga line and specialized in brown glazed pieces with portraits of Indians, monks, and fraternal emblems. It also made other types of tableware and vases along with semi-porcelain pieces. Condition: Very good condition. These are over 70 years old and many pieces show wear while others seem rarely used. Moderate to light utensil scratches and light shelf wear may be present. The gold trim shows very little wear. Some of the plates and bowl show significant wear to the center floral decal.
