1920 Antique Miniature William Shakespeare Taming of the Shrew Soft Leather bound book by Knickerbocker Novelty & Leather Company of New York.

Title of book is embossed in gold on spine; William Shakespeare name is imprinted on front cover w/a crest.

Book is not in bad shape at all. Shows wear at the top and bottom of cover; pages are all intact and not torn, spine shows a bit of separation on the inside. There is a handwritten name in pencil when you open the cover - SPUD WATTBY. There is another handwritten note on the next page which reads "Petruchio, With Lots of Love from The Cook." Shakespeare fans know that Petruchio is a character in The Taming of the Shrew.

A very neat collectible IMO.
