Here we have a superb, rare retro Italian art pottery vase. This was made by "Studio 4" who were a company founded in 1972 by Lelio Rossi and 4 other former Bitossi employees. Items by Studio 4 were imported to the US by Raymor during the 70's. Studio 4 were known to copy Bitossi designs - hence this vase being identical to a Bitossi "Sahara" vase that was designed by Aldo Londi during the 1970's. I certainly couldn't tell the difference and believed it were a Bitossi vase when I purchased it but double checked with a specialist Bitossi group online before selling. The pattern is known as "Sahara" and the colours used were chosen to be reminiscent of the colours of the desert, the orange of the sun against the brown/beige sands. This is a fantastic mid century piece which is bang on trend right now. This is perfect for a collector of Studio 4, Bitossi, Italian pottery or an enthusiast of mid century art/pottery. This measures approximately 8 inches by 5 inches. This would look superb on any shelf, table or sideboard in a mid century inspired home. This is the only one on eBay of course and the cheapest online so get it while you can! If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.

 Please see my other items where I have a good selection of mid century Italian pottery listed amongst other decorative antiques and interesting items.

Please add me to your favourites list and take a look at my other items as I have hundreds that will be listed daily in the up and coming weeks.

Please Note;

I use new & recycled materials to ensure that your item arrives to you safely. I pack all of my items the best I can which you will see from my feedback. However, as with fragile items there is always a risk, items such as Antiques/Collectables, glass, ceramics, paintings etc are not insured for damage by any of the postal services, with the exception of The Royal Mail. This is why I offer a choice of postage options, so you can choose your preferred postage method. Collection in person is also available on all of my items. In the unfortunate, and unlikely event that something does get damaged or goes missing with the Royal Mail then I will do my very best to assist you in making a claim. I always obtain proof of postage for all of my sent items. Sadly I cannot be held responsible for the postal services poor handling of parcels. Here are a few links regarding Royal Mails compensation policies and how to make a claim if necessary.
