I’ve done around 6k on this over 15 years. I installed the upgrade pack about 8 years ago running it on Vista. Well that laptop bricked about 3 years ago and it hasn’t been used since.

I doubt whether the upgrade pack and DVDs are useable now, I might be wrong there’s some aftermarket Tacx forums that help folks rinse out some use for this after Tacx stopped supporting it.

What does work is the basic flow turbo. It measures power, speed, rpm (cadence), time elapsed and heart rate (the uncoded HR strap does the job). You can either set the wattage you want to ride at and adjust it up or down to suit your intervals or you can set a slope/gradient +/-and use your gears. This format served me well performing intervals to power and cadence, a great piece of equipment for measuring training and progress.
