A rare black & white photograph of company officers and a football team made up of members of the 24th Regiment 'F' Company. Photo was taken in Cherat, India. During British rule of India this was a Hill Station. Photograph was taken in 1901. The photo is attached to a page of what was originally a photo album. Photo approx 28cm x 20cm.
On the other side of the album page there are 4 x original black and white photographs taken of military horses in Peshawar, Pakistan between 1910-1911. 3 photos approx 9cm x 9cm. 1 photo 12cm x 8cm.
The football photo has a small tear at the side. Photo mount has torn in bottom corner and is slightly faded around the edges. A couple of minor marks on the mount. Generally photos are in good condition for age.
