A pleasure to introduce a halo of sparkly gemstones to compliment this Purple Intaglio of a Queen Bee in Purple and varying shades of purple.  The shading is aided by Mother of Pearl backing which illuminates the image.  

This is a two part construction expensive design.  The top has a round section covering ear piercing area and it is round cage with halo of blue topaz and the centre in blue topaz.   The round gem top is joined by the Intaglio of Bee and is slightly domed.  The back is mother of pearl.   
The earrings are light at 9.3 grams and the closing is Post and butterfly.  
Lovely pair to take out to outings and the kind of earring that will take you through all seasons. 
Rhodium finish gives it a nice crisp look and the blue topaz loves light so you will have lots of sparkle in day and evening light.

TAGLIAMONTE -   Nino Tagliamonte and his artisans have created something truly unique and lasting for us.   By bringing back something from the past, long forgotten and revived again through years of dedication to blending and processing of Venetian Cameos known as “ Intaglios” Tagliamonte has virtually brought back images from as far back in time as Mesopotamia, ancient Rome and Greece.   The company owns thousands of Matrices (molds) which are identical to the antique originals by following the Roman manual processing of glasses and styles.   For example,  Did you know that red is a one of the most coveted and difficult color to produce.   Genuine gold is added to the mix of minerals and sands to come up with the this color and it is not until the roman glass is cooled that the true red color is known.    Many of the ancient molds have even the original signature of the artist embedded in them. 

Your piece might tell a story of love, passion, mythology, war, power and beauty beyond words.  There is Always a story behind each piece.  As Artists in their own right Nino and Lorena Tagliamonte and a very dedicated team of Artists and goldsmiths,  continue to bring us their artistic flair and dramatic interpretations to each Tagliamonte piece of jewellery.  

 

RETURNS:  Returns will be accepted within 14 days of delivery.   The item must be returned at your expense within this time period and in its original packing.  The cost of shipping is at your expense.
