The Intex 28005E ZX300 automatic pool cleaner is supposed to be connected to the Intex 1.5" threaded inlet fittings, which are generally not available in in-ground pools and above-ground pools from other manufacturers.

This 3d printed adapter, with a 3/4 Female garden hose thread at one end and the special Intex thread at the other, allows you to connect the Intex hose collar nut to any submersible water pump that has 3/4 garden hose thread or NPT 5/8 outlet. So you can use that automatic cleaner with submersible water pumps.
