Vintage 40's or 50's
7" by 9 1/2" strikingly beautiful wall hanging - mother and child are in relief.
Figures and frame are ivory color on black background - all one piece. When I got it I actully thought it was ivory or maybe bone until I picked it up.
. Do not know if is intended to be Mary and Jesus - that is just what I see. Amazing, you will not be able to tell it is plastic without seeing the back or touching it
I learned that it is a copy of a Santini sculpture and it is truly gorgeous.....
Saw a lot of this type hard plastic during late 40's and 50's
