  • Beschreibung: Aus dem Skizzenbuch des dänischen Künstlers Rondahl stammend, zeigt dieses Blatt den Einblick in das häusliche Leben einer einfachen Bauers- oder Landfamilie. Vermutlich ist die Skizze auf einer Studienreise des Künstlers in den nordischen Ländern entstanden und zeigt den Kontakt mit, und das Interesse des Künstlers an den Lebensgewohnheiten der Bevölkerung. Die Zeichnung stammt aus einer Serie von Skizzen nach skandinavischen Landschaften aus der Hand des dänischen Künstlers Rondahl (1858 Vordingborg - 1914 Kopenhagen), der sich besonders als Zeichner einen Namen gemacht hat. Er lieferte die Entwürfe für zahlreiche historische, archäologische und literarische Schriften.

  • Description: From the sketchbook of the Danish artist Rondahl, this sheet shows an insight into the domestic life of a simple farmer's or country family. The sketch was probably made on one of the artist's study trips to the Nordic countries and shows the contact with, and the artist's interest in, the habits of the people. The drawing is one of a series of sketches after Scandinavian landscapes by the Danish artist Rondahl (1858 Vordingborg - 1914 Copenhagen), who made a name for himself especially as a draughtsman. He provided the sketches for numerous historical, archaeological and literary writings.
