A lovely Suntour New Winner Ultra 13-19 freewheel.  This is a narrow space freewheel designed to be used in frames with 120 to 122mm spacing.  (the idea is you get a 6sp freewheel in the space for 5).  Sometimes you need to play with your axle spacing/spacers a bit.  This is a very high quality freewheel.  It uses a 2 prong remover. The box may only be in so-so condition.  The threading is BSC (aka British/English).

As with all vintage freewheels, it's suggested that you drip in some oil as the freewheel may have dried a bit over the years of storage.  You also should use a new chain when you install a new freewheel.

You have lots of choices for chains - any chain made for narrow 6, narrow 7, or 8sp should work.  In fact a 9sp chain might (not sure) work as well.

This item is perfect for that old Cinelli, Masi, Hetchines, Reynolds 531 or Columbus SL bicycle that you have.

This item will be great for that vintage lightweight bicycle that you may be displaying at Classic Bicycles Auburn in June 2024 in Auburn Indiana at the famous Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum

The fine print:

It is the responsibility of the buyer to determine if an item purchased from us is safe for use.  Many items, especially vintage items, are best for display-only due to metal fatigue, other degradation from time, and vintage designs that were not subject to modern testing.  If you purchase an item from us and you make a determination that the item is not safe for use, contact us for a replacement or refund.  But don't use this reason is you simply changed your mind about your need for the item.  You take care of us, and we take care of you!

This item is being sold by Boulder Bicycle.  We "failed retirement" and once again are in the vintage bicycle parts business.  The staff at Boulder Bicycle has been selling vintage Campagnolo Nuovo Record and Super Record parts since the early 1990's!

Note that while we failed retirement, we do plan to keep the business somewhat low key.  For now, we only ship orders on Wednesday of each week.  We will adjust the expected shipping times accordingly.  So order on the weekend and shipping is fast, order Wednesday night or later, and the order won't ship until the following Wednesday.  We are tempted to change our business name to "Wednesday Vintage Bicycle Parts" but for now we'll stick with Boulder Bicycle.

Do not ask us to report a lower-than-actual value for items shipped internationally.  It is the responsibility of the buyer to pay all customs/vat/import fees.  And please don't get mad at us if the postal service is slow - we take pride on getting your order packaged carefully and shipped on Wednesday.  If the postal service is slow or has other issues, we'll help with tracking and moral support, but we aren't the postmaster.
