The model is in near to mint fully original condition with no touch-up or replacement parts whatsoever. Excellent yellow tractor exterior with a red interior. The trailer is also in yellow with white rear fenders. Original (now somewhat age hardened) tires are fitted to the original cast aluminum hubs on both the tractor & trailer. Clear windows, perfect interior (including steering wheel), air filter and exhaust stack. Hood (bonnet) opens to reveal detailed engine. The trailer landing gear is excellent and the fifth wheel detachment mechanism works perfectly. Excellent base-plates on both the tractor and the trailer. Absolutely zero play-wear. The only issues with the model are a few tiny chips which are very difficult to see. (see photos). In all this is one of the best examples of the tractor & trailer that you will find.
The two shipping containers are just mint. The decals are perfect as are the original working rear doors. Do note that the often missing yellow container lifting cable is present!
The original box is in very good condition with all of the original inner packing material. There are also no missing outer or inner flaps. The box illustrations are colorful & clearly visible on all box sides as seen in the photos. The issues with the box are overall wear and the torn (but original) perspex. In all a good to very good fully original box for this outstanding model.
In summary a rare opportunity to acquire one of Corgi's finest models in splendid condition. This model will not disappoint the serious collector.
