Voulant toujours valoriser les âges de l'Europe à travers plusieurs angles, la Monnaie de Paris rend hommage à cette époque à l'aide de trois éléments : Léonard de Vinci, François Ier et le Château d'Ambroise. Décrit comme archétype et symbole de la Renaissance, Léonard de Vinci est un génie universel à la fois peintre, inventeur, scientifique, philosophe, écrivain, poète, musicien mais également architecte et artiste. La structure de la face, commune à tous les pays du programme Europa Star présente une étoile, issue du logo. La thématique de l'année et le nom du pays émetteur sont inscrits dans un arc de cercle. Au coeur de la face on trouve l'élément national, la déesse Europa, qui est habillée de drapeaux flottants. Le millésime est situé en bas à gauche de la pièce. Le revers met en avant la période de la Renaissance avec les trois emblèmes majeurs : François Ier, Léonard de Vinci , accompagné de l'homme de Vitruve et de la machine à voler, ainsi que le Château d'Amboise où ce dernier est enterré. | Series: Europ Star (2019 The Renaissance Era) Quality : BE (Belle Epreuve) The journey back in time through the ages of Europe continues to arrive at the time of the Renaissance. Always wanting to enhance the ages of Europe through several angles, the Monnaie de Paris pays tribute to this era with three elements: Leonardo da Vinci, Francis I and the Castle of Ambrose. Described as the archetype and symbol of the Renaissance, Leonardo da Vinci was a universal genius who was a painter, inventor, scientist, philosopher, writer, poet, musician as well as an architect and artist. The structure of the face, common to all the countries in the Europa Star programme, features a star, taken from the logo. The theme of the year and the name of the issuing country are inscribed in an arc. At the heart of the face is the national element, the goddess Europa, which is clothed in flags. The year of issue is located at the bottom left of the coin. The reverse side highlights the Renaissance period with the three major emblems: Francis I, Leonardo da Vinci, accompanied by the Vitruvian man and the flying machine, and the Château d'Amboise where the latter is buried. |
