Protect bird nests from predation caused by other birds and animals pecking or chewing the hole bigger to get to the young.

Available in 3 different sizes, 25mm hole, 28mm hole and a 32mm hole.  That suit different birds. You can either match them to your current box holes or if you want to change the occupancy of a box with a larger hole.

25mm holes are favoured by smaller birds such as bluetits.

28mm holes are for larger birds such as Great Tits

32mm holes are typically for Nuthatch and similar size birds.

These simple plates are made from aluminium, so they won't rust, simply screw over the holes.

 

In this square option here, the aperture hole is just off centre, honestly, the birds don't care, but it does mean they can be installed square or turned 45' into the apex of pitched roof boxes.  

 

Originally all cut and punched by hand, these are now created on CNC and finished by hand. 

Dimensions:  These plates are approx 75mm (3in) x 75mm (3in).

Bulk orders with or without engraved numbers are available.

 

We do our best to minimise plastic in our packaging. excluding any tape to secure the outside, sometimes if we are sent something in packaging that we can re-use, we will use this rather than bin it.

 

How its made?

 

This Part begins its life in a full sheet of aluminium.

It then gets cut into a flat shape cutout, using our in-house CNC cutting machine

After this, it is folded by hand on our manual press brake.

We check for any edge blemishes or sharp edges and deburr where required.

We use PayPal & Ebay Payment Manager for our payment system.

Standard Orders are dispatched promptly, we allow 3-5 days for delivery but typically arrive 1-2 days.
Wherever possible we us Royal Mail shipping in UK, this enables us to deliver to the majority of the UK at no additional cost.

Scottish Highlands and SOME, postcodes beginning HS, IV, KW, ZE, AB, FK, KA, PA & PH may not be eligible for free post, please contact us prior to purchasing to see if free postage is available or a postage quote.

We accept returns up to 30 days of receipt. In the unlikely event you receive the wrong item or receive your item damaged (if your parcel looks damaged when delivered please ask the courier to sign the paper work as item damaged as this makes any claims easier to process), the correct item will be dispatched straight away free of charge and all return postage costs (agreed in advance) of the incorrect item will be refunded by ourselves.  Items ordered incorrectly can be returned if they are returned to us within 30 days of receipt and no damage or changes have been made to the item eg. (drilling, cutting, polishing, painting, powder coating etc).

We don't go out of our way to soliciti feedback so all given are genuine.
