This reel has been used, and the paintwork has rubs and scratches on the edges of the housing, rotor and the foot where it attaches it the rod (see pictures). The reel is fully functioning with a smooth retrieve and working anti-reverse. The bail spring is strong and flips over with a light finger dab.

This is a very good condition, fully functioning, 50+ year old reel, to fish with or add to a collection.
