Care Instructions
Felt does not require frequent washing. However, if you do need to wash it:
- Hand wash in cold or lukewarm water, 30C (86F), with special liquid detergent for wool products or shampoo. If you wash it in hot water may shrink further.
- Submerge felted item and leave it to soak for a few minutes
- Gently swish your felted item through the water a few times
- Rinse thoroughly using same temperature water, and same method.
- Squeeze gently to remove excess water (squeeze like a sponge, don’t wring like a rag). Squeeze without twisting, squeezing into a ball.
- Blot between 2 towels to remove even more water.
- Pull back in to shape and leave to dry naturally. Never place in a dryer!
- Reshape with hands while damp.
- If you want to iron it, use a steam iron.
