‘Expect the unexpected’ with Gabriel smoking a cigarette underwater was the advertising theme for his first album in 1977.

This is a truly one of a kind conversation piece and would look awesome framed. At 13 x17, it’s quite a large ad and would frame nicely in a 14 x 18 frame.

I’m a big Genesis fan, so I have laminated advertisements for every Genesis and Gabriel album.

I’ve been collecting music ads from Rolling Stone, Melody Maker, NME, etc. for over a decade and have a huge collection. The problem with these ads is that if you frame them, they eventually fade and/or yellow. If you try to glue them, they eventually bubble and warp.

However, I found that by laminating them, they’re frozen in time, protected forever. These ads are easy to handle and frame and look great. Any with a matte finish can actually be passed around by hand. I have over 1,500 laminated and thousands more available.

Please note that these ads have been pulled from decades old newspapers and may have imperfections. Occasionally, there might be slight imperfections from the lamination process, but nothing that would affect the overall appearance. Please look closely at the photos before purchasing.
