This is a beautiful, framed print called "The Vision" originally painted by Cuno von Bodenhausen and appears to be from the 1920s. The artists was from Germany and was know for his figure paintings. The print features the Madonna and Child ascending to heaven with three crosses in the lower right background depicting the hill where Jesus was crucified on Good Friday. Frame appears original to the print and measures approximately 21"x17". Back appears to have been recently covered with brown paper (see photo). From a local auction.
