Dinky Toys No. 690 Scorpion Tank. This is the rare late version which has the plastic wheels, camouflage net and antennae.
This model is fully original condition with no touch-up or replacement parts whatsoever. Likely this item has never been out of the bubble box, which is why I photographed it as such. Inside you can see the original missiles on the sprue as well as an unused decal sheet and antennae.
Most interesting is the history of this model as this was a special offer via W.D. & H.O. Wills company in Bristol. To my knowledge you could collect cigarette packs (the company was one of the oldest tobacco companies in the UK) which you could then trade in for models. This is the story with this tank as it comes with the original shipping container from Wills!
Quite an interesting story, so say the least!
