Presented is a neat silver sugar basket with a swing handle. This piece dates to
the late 1700s or very early 1800s, and we believe this is an American piece.
The rim of the sugar basket has openings to hold spoons, as the photos
demonstrate. The body of the basket has a lovely hand-chased and hand-engraved
design of leaves, while the side of the rim has a swag and ribbon design
engraved. This is a great quality piece, attractive and well made.

This piece has been tested and is guaranteed at least 900/coin purity silver.

This piece is in great condition. The handle is in good shape and moves
freely. There are no splits, no dents, no monograms, no monogram removals, no
breaks and no repairs.
