Just unpacked the last eighty pipes from my extensive collection as I scale back for retirement. Look what I pulled out of the box:

A circa 1975 360° Perfect Straight Grain Plateau Rim Bent Dublin with a Cumberland stem made by Elliot Nachwalter at (the original 630 ) Briar Workshop in Stowe, VT.

This unique pipe from The Briar Workshop is a must-have for any collector of tobacco pipes. The craftsmanship of this piece is evident in the beautiful straight grain design, Cumberland stem, plateau rim and the attention to detail in every aspect. The pipe comes from the Stowe, VT USA workshop and has been meticulously hand created by the skilled artisan Elliot Natchwalter.

With its high-quality construction and unique design, this pipe is a great addition to any collection. Whether you are a seasoned collector or just starting out, this piece is sure to impress. Don't miss out on the opportunity to own a one-of-a-kind pipe from The Briar Workshop.

Straight grain designated pipes from the early era of this pipe studio are quite rare. This pipe has the significant dual signature stamps of both Elliot Nachwalter and Jorg Jemelka, the original Stowe VT carvers.

I decided to email Elliot about this pipe and he recalled making this pipe and said it was one of the finest blocks he ever worked with. He recalled it being made around 1974-75.

It’s not often a pipe wows me like this one. It’s truly a wonderful creation and sports beautiful 360° straight grain and stunning Birds Eye’s along the entire heel!

This pipe is in wonderful condition, fully cleaned and sanitized inside and out. Two coats of carnauba wax were applied. Bowl was carefully cleaned.
