380th Bomb Group Flying Circus WWII Reunion Button 1999 King of the Heavies RAAF.  Measures approx. 3.5" in diameter.  Very hard to find these reunion buttons.  I have 10 other year buttons from the group listed.  Condition is "USED".

Please see all the photos.

The 380th Bombardment Group (H) flew B-24 Liberator bombers primarily in the Southwest Pacific Theatre in WWII.

They were part of the 5th Air Force and were known as the FLYING CIRCUS and as the KING OF THE HEAVIES (note the lion in the insignia).

In addition to flying combat missions, the group operated as a training unit for Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) crews in B-24 operations.

The group was awarded both the United States Distinguished Unit Citation and the Philippine Presidential Unit Citation for its combat service in Borneo, New Guinea and the Philippines.

And now the small print: I am in the business of treasure hunting and recycling cool vintage items and collectibles for eBay in a region where they are still found at auctions, garage sales, and flea markets.  Every effort is made to describe items to the best of my ability, and I always take great care in packaging items. If there is a problem with your purchase, please let me know before you leave feedback, because I can't take care of a problem I'm not aware of. My goal is for you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase and your eBay experience, so check my feedback and bid or buy with confidence.  Combined shipping is available when possible on multiple purchases. Please feel free to message me with any questions you may have. Thank you for your interest!
