These desirable radios are fitted with an impressive dot matrix LCD display but are let down by the dull green factory fitted Led backlight.

This door to door service gives owners the option to have their ICF-SW100 upgraded to a brighter clearer display with the fitting of ultrabright white Leds.

In addition, all solder joints at the headphone and power sockets will be reworked as they are prone to stress failure with age.

Finally, the radio will be fully tested before being returned to its owner.

How the service works:

1. After clicking "buy it now", I will forward the delivery address to send your radio to.

2. Upon receipt, the radio will be checked and repaired within 3-5 working days.

3. You will be updated during the repair process.

4.  After final testing, your radio will be returned via Royal Mail tracked 48 (UK) or eBay  Global Shipping Programme (ROW).

 

Small print.....

Your name and full return address should be enclosed with the radio.

Only the bare radio should be sent, ie no batteries, AC adapter, case or accessories.

It is strongly advised that the radio is well packed and sent via a tracked/signed for service.

Non UK buyers should declare contents as "Faulty radio, value 10 GBP" (or equivalent)

If your radio is beyond economic repair, after notification it will be returned and you will be refunded in full, minus the prevailing return postage.
