Domestic Shipping

  • Within the Continental US, all items shipped for free using UPS Ground with signature confirmation and insurance.  
  • In Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico, items will be shipped Parcel Post for free.  If you would like me to ship USPS priority mail, add $35 to the total cost. 
  •  If you want to upgrade to USPS Priority, Express, UPS next day, 2nd day, or 3rd day shipment, you as the buyer are responsible for these costs.  If these options are not available on my webpage, contact Plaza Laptops, and we will make the desired shipping option(s) available. 
  • All tablets will be shipped on the purchase date, Monday through Friday, if payment is verified by PayPal by 3:30 PM ET. 
  • Be sure your shipping address is correct before paying with PayPal.  Plaza Laptops must ship to the address provided by PayPal.   Plaza Laptops will NOT ship to a different address than the PayPal address.


International Shipments

  • International shipments will be sent through UPS.  Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs, brokerage fees, and landing taxes.  If the UPS option is not available, please contact Plaza Laptops, and we will add UPS to the listing.
  • In certain countries, buyers can choose to have the tablet shipped using the Ebay Global Shipping Program.  If you choose this option, you will pay Ebay the shipping costs and import fees when you purchase the tablet, so there will not be additional fees when the tablet is delivered.  The tablet will be shipped to Kentucky, USA where the Global Shipping Center is located, which takes 2 business days.  Once the shipping center receives the item, they will prepare the international documents and ship the tablet to the buyer's address the next business day.  Shipping can take an additional 3-7 business days (6-12 business days total).  Ebay Global Shipping uses FedEx, InterPost, CitiPost, CanPar, USPS, and other major shipping companies.
  • Plaza Laptops  will not mark item as a gift, so please do not ask. 
  • Dell may charge extra for an international warranty.  Buyer is responsible for these costs. 
  • If an item is returned for any reason, the buyer is responsible for shipping costs to and from your respective country.
  • Make sure you can transfer the Dell warranty to your country before you buy. I am not responsible if Dell will not transfer the warranty outside the US.


Policies:

  • System comes with a Dell warranty & support.
  • Warranty Transfer is the buyer's responsibility. Warranty transfer instructions will be sent via eBay messaging when I ship the tablet.
  • Please contact Dell Technical Support directly for all repairs/support.
  • Be sure your shipping address is correct before paying with Paypal.  Plaza Laptops has to ship to the address Paypal gives me.    Plaza Laptops will NOT ship to a different address than the one Paypal provides. 
  • The picture of the box in the listing is a stock photo.  The box in the picture may be different than the actual Dell box the tablet is shipped in.  Dell uses several different types of boxes to ship Manufacturer Refurbished tablets.
  • Factory build specifications on the Dell website may be slightly different than what the tablet currently has.  A certified technician at Plaza Laptops may have upgraded certain hardware on the tablet after receiving the tablet from Dell.  If you would like to know what items were upgraded, if any, please contacted me.

Q. Where do these laptops/tablets come from?

A. We purchase directly from Dell, and this tablet is refurbished by Dell to meet original factory specifications.

Q.   Has the box of the laptop/tablet been opened after Dell shipped to Plaza Laptops?

A.  We open the box to conduct an external check of the tablet.  We do this to make sure the tablet doesn’t have any major damage, the service tag matches the invoice, the tablet is not DOA, and the specifications stated on the Dell invoice are identical.  In most cases, we do not boot the system; we only check the BIOS.  If the tablet was booted, this will be stated at the beginning of the auction next to the item number.  After the system is checked, the box is resealed using the factory tape.

Q. How does Dell end up with these laptops for sale?

A. Dell offers the buyers of all brand new tablets a generous 21 day return policy. 
Some customers may choose to return their purchase during this period. For example, a tablet may be returned because the customer simply changes his or her mind. Another possibility is that the customer had an issue with the laptop (scratch or complication) and returned it. All Dell systems are put through the production process, and then retested to ensure they meet all original factory specifications. Certified refurbished systems may have some observable cosmetic blemishes, but they will not affect performance. They are sold with a similar warranty to brand new tablets. 

Q. What warranty does the laptop / notebook have?

A. This particular tablet has a limited warranty from Dell. You can extend your warranty through Dell.



Return Policy


1. Return policy window is any time from the moment you place the order to 14 calendar days from the delivery date. 
2. If you change your mind at any time before the order us shipped, you receive a 100% refund. 
3. If you change your mind after the order is shipped but before you open the box, a full refund LESS the S&H fee will be provided. 
4. If you have opened the box but return the item in original condition, for any reason, a refund less 15% restocking fee and S&H will be provided. All returns must be sent back in the original packaging.


If for some reason your system doesn't match the specifications outlined in the ad, Plaza Laptops will happily refund your payment upon return of the system in original condition.  Plaza Laptops does not accept returns due to system performance problems.  Plaza Laptops conducts an external examination of all laptops and checks basic functionality, but we do not conduct extensive tests of system operation.  Therefore, Plaza Laptops cannot guarantee the operation of each individual system. Any system performance issues need to be addressed by Dell through the warranty coverage procedure.  



Damaged Items
All packages/tablets are inspected for external damage before they ship from the warehouse. If your package/tablet has been damaged in transit, please contact us immediately. We must be informed of all shipping related claims within 1 business day of the date of receipt by my carrier.
