My mom bought the phone in Germany for use on European trips but then found something she liked better so this phone was never used beyond the initial setup at the Vodafone store.  The phone is Vodafone branded but unlocked.  I tested the phone in the US on the Google Fi Network (T-Mobile), and it worked just fine.  I only tested it for calls.  I did not check internet connectivity because that would've meant researching and playing with the APN settings, and that is just too much work for a phone I'm not keeping. The battery accepts a full charge and the battery life seems normal. 

Please note that the charger has a European plug.  However it accepts any input voltage in the 100-240V range, so all you need is a plug adapter to use the phone worldwide.

The phone takes a full-size SIM card, so you might need at SIM card adapter.  (Most prepaid SIM cards come with one.)
