This set is overall in good+ condition: the covers have small sticker residue marks in front and occasional light scuffs and small corner bumps; the first and last volumes (Oriental Heritage and Age of Napoleon) have scattered stain spots at the fore text edge; vol. III (Caesar and Christ) has a small stain on the bottom text edge; vol. IV (Age of Faith) has shaken hinges and suntanning to the spine area; and vol. X (Rousseau and Revolution) has a creased front end page; otherwise the bindings are still solid to tight and the interior pages are clean and unmarked (no former owner's name, highlighting or notes).
