I recently acquired a collection of books, both fiction and nonfiction, by established or emerging Black authors on a variety of social, political, and historic topics.  I'm selling these in small lots, so please check out my other book listings from this collection. Shipping charges will be reduced for multiple purchases.

This is a lot of four paperback memoirs, or autobiographies, by prominent African American authors.  Briefly, the four books are:

1)  Destined to Witness: Growing up Black in Nazi Germany by Hans J. Massaquoi. First Perennial Edition, 2001. Later printing.

2)  Down These Mean Streets by Piri Thomas.  Vintage Books Edition, 1991. Later printing.

3)  Letter to Jimmy: On the Twentieth Anniversary of his Death by Alain Mabanckou.  Soft Skull Press.  First printing of this paperback edition.

4)  Losing My Cool: Love, Literature, and a Black Man's Escape from the Crowd  by Thomas Chatterton Williams.  Penguin Books, 2011. First printing of this paperback edition.

These books are in very good, or better condition. None has underlining, inscriptions, tears, or other unwanted marks. Some have slight yellowing of the pages and gentle wear to the covers.
